Welcome To My Blog!

This blog is where I post all my practice shots. I especially enjoy macro nature photography. Everything in God's creation is so beautiful and I praise Him for it.

Pictures from the farm. . .

I had fun shooting this little goat today. Try as I might, I could not get her to stand in this perfect looking patch of dandelions and violets. She just kept running and jumping on me. I did get a few nice photos. Here they are.

I think we are going to get apples this year. Yeah! Usually our trees produce every other year, but I think with the unusual weather we have been having we will indeed have apples this year!
Oh, and the blossoms are so pretty too. . .

Our 'guard dog'. I wish he was not. I want a real guard dog but until then. . .
Mr in the picture above will have to do. It is almost 1:00 (AM :) and I heard him honk outside. Wonder how many coyotes he scares away. . . not many I'm thinking.

Thanks Lacy! Yeah, that one was my favorite too.
She is 9 days old. She will be 2 weeks on Sunday.
Our gander really is not that scary, he thinks he is though :)

I see you started a photography blog! That is nice I'll be keeping up with it :)

You're welcome! The first picture looks like she found something mighty interesting up above, and is gazing at it in wonder {mouth open}. =D Leastways, that's how it looks to me! She looks so cute!

Yeah, I started a photography blog, I gave in and couldn't resist anymore. =D

What kind of camera do you have?

Lacy,
I have a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. I like it alot. It is an advanced point and shoot. I eventually want to get a DSLR but until then. . . I'm practicing :)
I was really happy with the deal I found for my camera. It was $165 on craigslist and that was including the insured shipping. It is three years old, but the guy who I bought it from only used it for a little bit and it came with a nice case and two large SD cards.
You have a powershot too- right? Is it a DSLR?

Hannah ~ Ah, okay. I have a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS. It's not a DSLR, but like yours, an advanced point and shoot. =)

Wow, it sounds like you got a good deal on your camera! $165 isn't bad at all for a little used camera and 2 cards!

Aww, love the pictures of your goat!

Our geese are better 'guard dogs' than our 'real' dogs. LOL :P

I really like the goats legs standing in dandelions, the color contrasts are naturally subtle and I wonder if I could spin a thread with these colorways and call it Dandelion Goat--mmm
Love ya,
